Zwölf polnische Weihnachtslieder für Männerchor a cappella
It may sound immodest to say that the most beautiful Christmas songs are from Poland. … In the oldest Polish Christmas songs … one still hears the echoes of Gregorian chant, while other melodies are derived from the Renaissance. However, most of the songs originated in the 17th and 18th centuries. Frederic Chopin immortalized "Lulajze Jezuniu" (Sleep Jesus Child), one of the most beautiful Christmas lullabies, in his Scherzo in B minor.
