FAVORITE WORK

Toivo Kuula: Auringon noustessa / At sunrise

´Have you heard of Toivo Kuula? Until a couple of years ago his name was completely unknown to Iris Pfeiffer. Though the a-cappella-piece is a jewel of late Romantic choral music...

Song of Hope

NEW PUBLICATIONS FOR ORGAN

Johannsen: Song of Hope

The new organ fantasia Song of Hope by Kay Johannsen, Kantor of the Stiftskirche in Stuttgart, is improvisatory in style and has a melancholy basic character.

For performance during Advent we recommend Johann Ludwig Krebs' chorale arrangement of Wie schön leuchtet der Morgenstern for oboe d'amore (oboe) and organ.
