New edition of the C Minor Mass K. 427
Frieder Bernius and Uwe Wolf have published a new edition of the Mozart mass which attempts to produce a performing version. Together with the full score (paperback), a high-quality clothbound edition will be published. The edition includes a facsimile edition of the fragmentary parts of the C Minor Mass .
A first recording of this version, with the Kammerchor Stuttgart and the Barockorchester Stuttgart conducted by Frieder Bernius, is also available.

German Critics Award "Jahrespreis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik 2016"
The recording of St. John Passion by Heinrich Schütz by the Dresdner Kammerchor under the direction of Hans-Christoph Rademann is awarded the most important independent German Critics Award “Jahrespreis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik 2016” as the Jury announced on November, 23rd.
The first complete recording of works by Heinrich Schütz has set artistic and editorial benchmarks. The first eight releases of the complete recording, containing among others the Geistliche Chor-Music 1648, the Italian Madrigals and the Psalms of David , are now being released in a box set of eleven CDs. The recordings have been supplemented with an Arthaus film entitled “Heinrich Schütz. Der Vater der deutschen Musik”.
Michael Praetorius: Choral concerti
The collection Polyhymnia Caduceatrix & Panegyrica of 1619 is rightly regarded as the high point in Michael Praetorius's output. In the choral concerti the highly modern, Italian style and the Protestant chorale combine and form a symbiosis which showed the way forward for the history of German music. Die einstündige Missa Pacis von Tilman Jäger ist für 4–8-stimmigen Chor mit optionalen Solostimmen und Begleitband konzipiert. With this recording, Frieder Bernius once again honors the musical legacy of the Bohemian composer Johann Wenzel Kalliwoda. On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the death of the longstanding court kapellmeister of Donaueschingen on 3 December 2016, the focus is on his instrumental compositions ? a convincing homage to the composer.
Luther songs for Advent and Christmas in arrangements by composers from the Reformation era
"Vom Himmel hoch" is one of the most famous songs by Martin Luther which is still sung today at Christmas. The ensemble Hamburger Ratsmusik under Simone Eckert has recorded this and four other Luther songs for Advent and Christmas in arrangements by composers from the Reformation era.
