Music Theater for Children and Young People

Bringing a musical to the stage is a challenging project for everyone involved—and at the same time, a unique opportunity to discover one’s own creative talents through singing and acting. At Carus-Verlag, it is a matter close to our hearts to support choir directors with suitable repertoire. Every situation is different: What age groups do I want to include? Do I want to encourage engagement with topics such as social cohesion or environmental awareness through my choice of theme, or is the focus simply on the joy of music and shared experience?

In our musicals, children and young people embark on exciting adventures with The Wild Pack, The Three ???® Kids, or the young Ludwig van Beethoven. They also immerse themselves in well-known fairy tales, amusing animal stories, and scenes from the circus or a haunted castle. At Carus, you’ll find all the performance materials you need for effective rehearsals and a successful show. Many of our musicals also come with playbacks, videos, or audio samples.
