The lyrical Oratorio de Noël is one of Camille Saint-Saëns’ most frequently-performed works. Equally charming, although less familiar to choirs, is the colorful and richly-orchestrated Requiem, and his youthful work Messe à quatre voix. 16 December 2021 sees the 100th anniversary of Saint-Saëns’ death.
