The work of Frieder Bernius is acclaimed around the world. He is in demand internationally as a conductor, and also as a teacher. His main artistic partners are the four ensembles founded by him: the Kammerchor Stuttgart, Barockorchester Stuttgart, Hofkapelle Stuttgart and the Klassische Philharmonie Stuttgart.
The artistic success of the Kammerchor Stuttgart is reflected by invitations to sing at all of the major European festivals and the more than 80 CDs recorded for EMI, Sony and Carus, many of which have been awarded international prizes. Invitations to tour in North America and Asia attest to the choir's worldwide reputation.
The Dresdner Kammerchor is one of the leading choirs in Germany. Since its foundation in 1985 by Hans-Christoph Rademann it has become firmly established on the German and European musical scene. With initiatives such as the first complete recording of Heinrich Schütz (2011–2017), the choir helps shape the cultural identity of this region, working internationally as an ambassador for Dresden and Saxony.
Hans-Christoph Rademann is one of the most sought after choral conductors and widely-acknowledged specialists of choral sound in the world. His concerts and recordings of music with the Dresdner Kammerchor and Dresdner Barockorchester from the 17th and 18th centuries, particularly the musical treasures of central Germany, are pioneering. His interpretations of Romantic and contemporary works have also been highly acclaimed, as reflected in numerous awards.
Calmus, the vocal ensemble from Leipzig, has been delighting its audiences with a broad and varied repertoire both at home and abroad since its founding 15 years ago. The ensemble's enthusiasm can be seen and readily heard during its performances.
