At the age of 13, Colin Mawby was already assisting at the organ in the choir school at Westminster Cathedral. He completed his studies at the Royal College of Music. Also at Westminster Cathedral, he was then the director of church music there from 1961 to 1976. From 1981 he conducted the choir of the Irish Broadcasting Corporation RTÈ. Personal details
