Hodie Christus natus est - this choral collection presents Christmas carols from Europe with original contributions that are representative of the respective country. The children's choir commission of Europa Cantat and Carus-Verlag have compiled 39 movements for equal voices from 23 European countries for collection No. 1, e.g. from Poland, Iceland, Denmark, Estonia, Romania or Greece. The songs can be sung in one or more voices, accompanied by instruments or played purely instrumentally. German, English and French translations of the original texts can be found in the appendix.
