Johann Sebastian Bach Die 12 Choralsätze der Matthäus-Passion mit Gemeindegesängen und Schriftlesungen

Read and write feedback
The powerfully expressive chorale movements in Johann Sebastian Bach’s St Matthew Passion lend themselves to Passiontide church services, also involving the congregation in the singing. This edition contains the 12 chorale movements from the St Matthew Passion (with further verses from the chorales) and suggestions for readings between the movements.
The edition is not fully compatible with the edition of the St Matthew Passion (Carus 31.244, in some parts different text is taken from the Lutheran Hymnal, and the notation differs).
