Setting in E minor
A new edition of Bach’s version for solo soprano, which is an equally worthy alternative to the better known version for bass solo.
Bach reworked the cantata My Life is Fulfilled several times for different scorings. There is a version in C minor for bass solo (BWV3 82.1) or mezzo-soprano solo (BWV3 82.3). These are included in the full score Carus 31.082/00. The related vocal scores 31.082/03 (bass solo) and 31.082/04 (mezzo-soprano solo) are also available. Furthermore, the E minor version for soprano solo has been published under the number Carus 31.082/50 (see below).
