José Antonio Rincón
| 1937Colombia-Mexican pedagogue, composer and choral conductor. He studied at the National University of Colombia, at the Musical Institute in Chile and at Queens College, New York. He has founded several choirs in Colombia, Venezuela and Mexico, where he has lived since 1980. As a composer he has devoted himself to writing ‘a cappella’ choral works and choral arrangements based on Afro Caribbean musical traditions. Personal details
