Mussorgskijs „Alla marcia notturna“ ist ein orchestrales Jugendwerk des russischen Komponisten. In formaler und klanglicher Hinsicht verwendet Mussorgskij hier bereits fortschrittliche Techniken (wie variierte Reprisen und melodische Blechpassagen), die er später in seinen Meisterwerken eingesetzt hat. Da der Schwierigkeitsgrad des Orchestersatzes als mittelschwer einzustufen ist, dürfte das Werk (von etwa dreiminütiger Spieldauer) eine Bereicherung für Laienorchester und Schulensembles darstellen.
