Medieval Nights

Medieval Nights is a quotational work based on the 14th century dance tune Belicha. The quoted material appears throughout the work in both literal an modified form and is mixed with elements from world music, Jazz, and the European avant Garde. The titles of the movements are a bit comical (as is the main title) but they are also intended to give a point of focus to both the performer and audience.
