In lectulo meo for violin solo and mixed choir (SSAATTBB) was commissioned by the State Academy of Music Baden-Wuerttemberg Ochsenhausen, dedicated to the Orpheus Vokalensemble. It was recorded by Orpheus Vokalensemble and violinist Ida Bieler for the CD "Touched by the Strings. Chorwerke mit Solovioline" (Choral works with solo violin, Carus 83.481).

Vytautas Miškinis
| 1954With more than 700 compositions to his credit, Vytautas Miškinis is is among the most prolific composers in Lithuania. For his religious music the composer employs primarily Latin liturgical texts. The texture of his works is often polyphonic, contains aleatoric elements, and sonorous effects. Miškinis’ music has enjoyed a permanent position in the repertoire of all singing festivals in Lithuania, including the Pu pils’ Festival, World Lithuanians’ and Students’ Festival (Gaudeamus). Many of his compositions have been awarded prizes in national competitions and have been chosen as obligatory pieces for performance at international choral and choral conducting competitions in countries including Italy, Austria, Argentina, Sweden, Germany.
