Christina Landshamer

Personal details

Christina Landshamer studied in Munich with Angelica Vogel and in Stuttgart with Konrad Richter and Dunja Vejzovic. She has received many prizes during her singing career, and has performed with many orchestras and leading conductors in both opera and concert. In 2006 she made her debut at the Staatstheater Stuttgart as Berta in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, and following this was engaged to sing Cinna in Mozart’s Lucio Silla, Frasquita in Carmen, Zerlina in Don Giovanni and Amor in Orphée. She sang Marzelline in Beethoven’s Fidelio at the Opéra National du Rhin in Strasbourg in 2008 and will make her debut as Susanna in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro at the Komische Oper Berlin in 2009. In April 2008 Riccardo Chailly invited her to sing in Bach’s St. Matthew Passion, which will be released on the Decca label.
