Hanna Havrylets

The Ukrainian composer and university lecturer Hanna Havrylets studied in Lviv and Kyiv. From 1992 she taught composition at the Ukrainian National Tschaikovsky Academy of Music. She also composed symphonic works and chamber music, but her main focus was on choral music. She died on 27 February 2022 in Kyiv, shortly after the start of the war, due to a lack of medical care.
