<p> In addition to his activity as a chamber music soloist and as an orchestral musician (also as a soloist with the Radiosinfonieorchester Stuttgart), Libor Sima, the Czechoslovakian saxophonist and bassoonist, is also a sought after musician in the fields of jazz and popular music (he has worked with such performers as Chaka Khan, The Modern Jazz Quartet, Charlie Antolini). He is also active as a composer and arranger. In 2009 he was awarded the Erich-Kästner-Literaturpreis for his role as musical director of Walter Sittler's stage presentation, "When I was a little boy."</p>
