Patrick Secchiari

Patrick Secchiari has been a passionate choral conductor throughout Switzerland for over 20 years and has made himself a name with innovative concert formats. In addition to engagements at theatres and festivals, he successfully conducts choirs in Seftigen, Bern, Glarus and Jona. He taught choral conducting at the Bern University of the Arts for ten years and also directed the Young Opera in Biel for three years. Secchiari studied singing and conducting at the music academies in Fribourg and Bern and took part in international masterclasses with Simon Halsey (Rundfunkchor Berlin), Frieder Bernius and Ralf Weikert, among others. He is currently President of the Swiss Federation Europa Cantat SFEC and continues his training with Túpac Mantilla (R.I.T.M.O.).
