Stuttgarter Hymnus-Chorknaben

The Stuttgart Hymnus Boys’ Choir can look back on a 125-year tradition. The choir is sponsored by the Protestant Church District of Stuttgart and is open to boys of all denominations. Qualified voice coaches provide one-to-one tuition to the approximately 200 singers. The repertoire focuses on sacred vocal music and includes both a cappella works ranging from the early Baroque to the present day, as well as oratorios, Passions and cantatas. Alongside a varied programme of concerts, the musical and liturgical accompaniment of church services forms an integral part of the choir’s annual calendar. Philipp Klahm has been conducting the choir since August 2026.
