Geboren im Jahre null ist der Versuch, auch heute Weihnachten zu feiern in Erinnerung und Ausblick: So könnte es gewesen sein, solchen Sinn hat der Erzähler Lukas seiner Geschichte gegeben.
Das Stück ist für einen 1–3-stimmigen Kinder- oder Jugendchor und zwei Sprechrollen geschrieben. Die Instrumentalstimmen können auch anders besetzt werden.

Günther Kretzschmar
| 1929-1986Günther Kretzschmar studied music in Leipzig and Halle. After holding positions as a church musician for many years, he became a freelance composer in 1977 and directed the Bremen Children's Choir and the choir of the Bremen Music school.
Personal details
His commitment to youth music education is particularly noteworthy. His songs for children are known today and an integral part of the repertoire of many children's and youth choirs.
