Miina Härma
| 1864-1941Miina Härma was one of the first Estonians to study organ and composition at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory (1883–1890). Alongside her compositional activities she worked as a music teacher and was editor-inchief of the monthly magazine “Eesti Muusika Kuukirja” (Estonian Musical Month). In 1939 she was appointed honorary doctor of the University of Tartu and honorary professor of the Tallinn Conservatory. Personal details
