Arnold Melchior Brunckhorst
1670
– 1725
Personal details
Arnold Matthias Brunckhorst was a composer associated with the North German organ school. Among other positions, he was organist at the town church in Celle and, later in life, court organist in Hanover, where he presumably remained until his death in 1725. Only a few of Brunckhorst's works have survived: two organ preludes and a clavichord sonata, as well as two cantatas.
