Sebastian Döring

Early in my childhood my fascination with music begun. At seven years old I started playing the clarinet. Between the ages of 9 and 17 I participated in the competition “Jugend musiziert” and was awarded two 2nd and five 1st regional prices, one 2nd and two 1st state prices and in 2015 a 1st national price. During that time I regularly participated in the Hans-Bissegger-Competition and won six times.

I started studying for my Bachelors of Music Education at the HfM Detmold in 2017.

Having started singing lessons in 2015 I chose to expand my studies with jazz/rock/pop singing as my second main subject in 2019.

In 2017 I became a member of the jazz and pop choir Pop-Up Detmold.

Since 2020 I work as a choir conductor, clarinet teacher, vocal coach and arranger.

I joined the performance choir CHOREOS in 2024.
