As a conductor, he led the Swiss “Chor Zug” to three first prizes at the international Choir Competition in Riva (Italy); he was director of the Popakademie University Choir in Mannheim for 15 years and, as part of a UN project, conducted a World Children’s Choir comprising 2,000 young people from 115 nations.
