Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of Lithuanian choral music! Ave Maria is a contemporary composition that borrows from the country’s rich choral tradition to create a unique soundscape. The work’s varied texture is achieved through diverse combinations of voices (e.g. soli for individual voice groups, high tessitura, low tessitura, passages of up to eight parts). The harmony, rhythms and voice-leading are designed to allow even (experienced) amateur choirs to overcome any initial challenges.

Recommended by the experienced conductor and choral conducting professor Jan Schumacher.
