Acht Klavierstücke
Elizabeth von Herzogenberg studied counterpoint and composition with her husband, Heinrich von Herzogenberg. Each of the Acht Klavierstücke, composed in 1882 and published posthumously by Heinrich von Herzogenberg., is dedicated to a female friend from among her Leipzig social circle. The short pieces, which are of medium difficulty, display a wide breadth of expression and compositional techniques.
