Worldwide the name Carus stands for and is synonymous with the highest standards and quality in vocal music. This is true not only for our reliable music editions but also for the recordings produced on the Carus label, which was founded at the same time as the publishing house in order to make rare and unpublished works available to be heard by the public. From the beginning Carus has worked together with internationally renowned artists and has gained the reputaton as an "inside tip" for first class recordings. The continued expansion of repertoire, as well as the unique expression of visual imagery in the design of the CDs has led to the Carus label becoming one of the largest independent labels in Germany.
